Your location access profile lets you communicate the accessibility of a particular location.
Are you unsure what a 'location' or 'zone' is at your organisation, or do you have other technical questions? Visit our location and zone access profile FAQs for more information.
What are location access profiles for?
The information you share in your location access profile will help disabled people feel confident to attend a creative or cultural experience. It will enable more customers to prepare for their visit. Audiences will be able to find your location when they search the All In public listings for access provisions relevant to them.
Aim to include as much information about your access provisions as you can. This detail can make all the difference. It helps disabled people trust that they will be welcomed and included in a space.

Getting started
Start by filling in general information, such as the name and address of your location.
Then select all the access provisions your location provides. Tick the box to indicate whether you have each access provision in place.
Next, add information and images to describe each of your access provisions. This is where you can tell your visitors what they can expect, and anything specific about access at your location.
When you've completed your form, check and submit your location access profile.
If your organisation is subscribed to All In, our Access Specialists will then review your location profile to suggest further improvements and maximise the impact of your listing to the public.
Subscribers can book a location review call for tailored support from an Access Specialist at any time. Log in and go to your organisation dashboard to book a call.
Once you’ve completed any suggested improvements, we’ll approve and publish subscribers’ location profiles so they appear in All In’s listings, free for the public to discover.
Writing good descriptions for your access provisions
Here are some key points to bear in mind to create a good access profile:
- include as much helpful detail as you can
- be specific and descriptive. For example, use measurements and distances rather than vague judgements such as "a short walk"
- use clear and simple language
- add hyperlinks wherever relevant. These could be links to webpages, videos, maps, or other documents
- add clear images wherever relevant
- include alt text for each image. View a guide on how to write alt text

Do I need to complete every field?
No. Our access profile form is comprehensive, and we don’t expect every field to be completed, especially if you’re just starting your All In journey. Some provisions may not be relevant to your artform or venue. Or you might need to ask for more information from colleagues across departments.
You can skip sections by clicking "Save and next". You can also return later to add more detail.
Most importantly: be transparent about your provisions and any limitations. Remember, your aim is to welcome audiences by providing information that builds confidence. Knowing what to expect enables disabled people to make an informed decision. Knowing there might be an access barrier is valuable information that can help someone plan how to navigate this. You can then plan how to address the barriers you identify, and improve your access provision over time, with support from All In.
Planning, collaboration and improvement
How you go about completing your location access profile will depend on your context and organisation. It might involve various activities:
- walking around your site with front of house colleagues and taking notes
- taking pictures and measurements
- checking your website for information or policies
- delegating sections to other team members to complete
We recommend you plan these activities as you would any other project, clarifying who is available to support you, and how you prioritise this.
To help you gather your responses, we've created a downloadable Word document version of the location access profile form. You can use this to collaborate digitally with others.
As you work on completing your location access profile, you'll spot areas where you can improve your accessibility. The time and attention you put into completing your profile will be an opportunity to plan and grow your access and inclusion offering, inviting more people through your doors.
Explore the All In Accessibility Standards for guidance on improving access and communicating this with your profile.
Adding a Location in multiple languages
All In currently supports two languages: Welsh (Cymraeg) and English.
If you would like to list your Location in more than one language, you will need to create one Location per language.
Additional Locations that provide information for the same venue but in a different language will not be charged an additional Location fee.
We recommend completing your Location in one language first. Then, when it has been approved for publishing by our Access Specialists, translate your finished Location into other languages.
During the creation process for your Location, you will be asked "What is the language of this location profile". Select the required language from the drop-down.
It is the responsibility of your organisation, rather than All In, to ensure that any translations are completed and accurate.
